Matt Dilks went 4-for-4 with two doubles to lead the Cheers The Band Lumber Kings to a 14-10 game 4 victory and a 3-games-to-one series championship over Top Notch. The Kings won their tenth championship in their tenth season of existence. Billy Cressman also had four hits while Luis Cruz, Steph Harden, Nick Trofa added three apiece. Lou Capone and Freddie Hubbard added two hits each. Top performers in the finals series were Steph Harden (11 hits), Luis Cruz (10 hits), Matt Dilks (8 hits, 2 home runs) and Nick Trofa (8 hits, 3 wins, 9 runs allowed).

Matt Dilks hit two home runs and had five RBI's to lead the Cheers The Band Lumber Kings to a 6-1 triumph over Top Notch in Game 3 of their best-of-five final series. Winning pitcher Nick Trofa had three hits while Luis Cruz and Steph Harden had two hits each.

The Cheers The Band Lumber Kings used a balance attack to even their finals series with Top Notch at one game each. Steph Harden led Cheers with four hits in the 10-4 victory. Jim Gallagher, Julien Greene, Nick Trofa, Billy Cressman, Luis Cruz, Lou Capone and Dave Dilks. Pitcher Bill Liepe again held Top Notch to only four runs.

The Cheers The Band Lumber Kings swept Robert's Place two games to none with a 14-4 victory in their semi-final A Division series. Lou Capone hit a home run, triple and single with five RBI's while Luis Cruz continued his hot playoff hitting with four hits. Matt Dilks had a single, double and triple and Albert Pareja also added four hits. Tom Cressey contributed two hits.

In Game 1 of their Semi-final series, the top-seeded Cheers The Band Lumber Kings defeated Robert's Place 11-6. Luis Cruz led the Kings with four hits, including two doubles and a triple. Matt Dilks had two triples amongst his three hits and Julien Greene also hit two triples. Josh Nixon, Nick Trofa and Freddie Hubbard added two hits each.

Steph Harden hit a towering walk-off home run in the bottom of the 5th inning to lead the Cheers The Band Lumber Kings to an 11-0 win over Northeast Bartender. The three-run homer allowed the Kings to win the shortened game via the ten-run rule. Harden added a triple and a single. Lou Capone, Dave Dilks, Bill Liepe and Don Kreutzer contributed two hits each to make the Kings final regular season record 15 - 4.

Every member of the starting lineup had at least three hits as the Cheers The Band Lumber Kings crushed Atlantic City Linen 35-3. Albert Pareja, Lou Capone and KC McWilliams had six hits each; Matt Dilks and George Bucci had five; Dave Dilks, Shane Drobel and Don Kreutzer had four and Freddie Hubbard had three with a home run. The Lumber Kings have clinched first place in the A division and are now 14 – 4.

Josh Nixon and Matt Dilks hit home runs to lead the CTB Lumber Kings over Oyster Creek Inn Team Shocker 4-2. The win breaks a tie between the two teams for first place in the A Division. Nixon had three hits while Dilks was joined by Tom Cressey with two hits apiece.

Josh Nixon, Nick Trofa, Tom Cressey, Freddie Hubbard and Albert Pareja joined Dilks with three hits apiece. Lou Capone joined Greene with two hits each. The Kings clinched a playoff spot and are now at 12 - 4.

Nixon, Julien Greene, Billy Cressman, Rob O'Brien and Don Kreutzer added two hits apiece to bring the Kings to a 10-4 record. Matt Dilks pitched the shutout.

Cheers also picked up a forfeit win from Polistina & Associates making them 9 - 4 on the season.

The Cheers The Band Lumber Kings lost their fourth game in their last five, with a 7-6 loss to Robert's Place. The two teams were tied for first place prior to the game. The Lumber Kings (6 - 4), having their worst stretch in their history, are now a game behind first. Bill Liepe was the only King with two hits. Julien Greene had one hit and three walks, while Freddie Hubbard hit a 2-RBI double.

The Cheers The Band Lumber Kings played what was probably the worst game in their history when they were defeated by Shoreline Construction 7-0. Bill Liepe and Bill Tillar led the depleted lineup with two hits each. Jim Gallagher became the only Lumber King to reach second when he hit a double in the sixth. The Kings fell to 6-3 on the season.

Trofa was 3-for-4, with a walk, a sac fly and an unassisted double play at second base for the Kings. Steph Harden had four hits while Freddie Hubbard and Don Kreutzer also had three hits apiece. Tom Cressey added two hits for the defending champs.
